MOKSHA AND MUKHTHI

The path of knowledge, the path of right action and the path of devotion are the different paths to reach the truth and reality. The necessity of meditation and ultimate union with God should be the ultimate aim of man.

Shiva, Brahma and Vishnu representing destruction, creation and protection are the three Gods of the Trinity, these three attributes are ever manifest in the world and are interrelated. To indicate their interrelatedness, the three are combined in the one form of Lord Dattatreya. Lord Dattatreya has the three faces of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva.

Astha, Kama, Dharma and Moksha. A human being can live on all four simultaneously or choose to live on one or other. If his choice is the last that is moksha, mukti transcendence, then the yogic tradition prescribes a code of conduct-these are Yamas and Niyamas.

The five Yamas are-
(a) Truthfulness
(b) Honesty
(c) Non possessiveness
(d)Non violence and very importantly
(e) Brahmcharya celibacy.

There is the Sri Mantra for ushering in prosperity,
the Maha Mritunjaya Mantra to tackle life threatening conditions,
the Gayatri Mantra for wisdom and harmony.
